Because we are responsible for hundreds of pets, it takes a coalition of carefully selected individuals who
develop personal relationships with each client. Critter Sitter Connection relies on a network of Independent
Contractors who are available throughout the greater Kansas City area to provide quality care for all our clients
and their pets.  Contractors are required to maintain a spotless report card from each of our clients to continue
as a member of our pet care team.

Is my sitter insured and bonded?
Yes. In addition to providing liability insurance and dishonesty bonding, we perform a criminal background check
on all of our Independent Contractors. Sitters are able to provide references, and sometimes even pictures, at
the get aquainted visit.

Do I have to call the office to schedule a reservation?
No, please use the contact us link to schedule reservations or to confirm when you have made a reservation with
your sitter directly. Critter Sitter Connection uses only the most reliable and professional pet sitters available to
our clients.  Making an online reservation or calling our office directly is in your best interest, and ours.  When you
contact Stella directly with your reservation request, you can rest assured that your sitter's insurance coverage is
current and they have maintained a good report card from our clients. Also, by scheduling a sitter online, or
through our office you can be sure that in the event of an emergency, your loved ones will be cared for by one of
our best.

Why is Critter Sitters Connection a better alternative to Day Play?
Many pets prefer to stay in a familiar environment. If your pet is uncomfortable or nervous around other animals,
or at a bording facility, give us a try.

Because of the pack instinct still prevalent in all dogs, urinating to mark territory inevitably occurs in a day play
setting.  This will, without fail, result in what is called "surface training".  That means your dog will learn to
urinate  on whatever surface, usually concrete, is at the day play facility.
Also, too often pets leaving day play need to be groomed before they are fit to ride in the car.

Critter Sitter Connection provides quality care in your own home, care that fits your schedule and lifestyle.
Day Play can also be arranged in addition to in home services if your dog enjoys the company and requires the
extra activities and smells of having many other dogs around.  We will transport, clean, and return your loved one

Why doesn't the website give exact prices for the services offered?
I attempt to list prices as accurately as possible based on the price sheet each independent contractor files with
me; however, prices are negotiated at the get acquainted visit.  Factors such as distance traveled, number of
pets, type of pets, and types of services requested all contribute to how your sitter determines the fair value of her
or his services. All of our sitters are trained professionals in caring for animals, and love caring for animals.
Each of them sets her or his own prices according to the various services they offer. We care for all animals of all
sizes, from hamsters to horses, so it is difficult to say exactly what one visit will cost. You can be sure that your
sitter will listen to your requests and provide services at a very reasonable rate.
